In 2019 the most common New Year’s resolution, or goal, was to exercise or get in shape.
Don’t get me wrong that’s a fantastic goal! But the biggest problem with new year’s resolutions is that they often lack two key components: a deeper meaning and an action plan.
I challenge you to get to the deeper reason behind WHY your resolution is important by answering the following questions:
- How will it change your life?
- How will it impact those around you?
- Why is it so important to you?
Once you’ve got your deeper why, it will be your actions that get you closer to your goal. I want you to write down 3 realistic action steps that you can commit to that will help you accomplish your goal.
Don’t beat yourself up if it doesn’t go 100% according to plan, because life rarely does. Remain flexible and enjoy the journey.
