Each month CrossFit Kids classes focus on one of CrossFit’s 10 Physical Skills. In November we practiced how to BALANCE. During the month of December we will build on our balancing skills and focus on AGILITY. “Agility” refers to the ability to control movement and change direction effectively. Ladder drills, obstacle courses and stability exercises aim to help our athletes learn how to direct their energetic movements in safe, productive and efficient ways.
With our 28-Day Nutrition Challenge up and running for our adults at the gym, we will also review what “All The Time,” “Sometimes” and “Special Occasion” foods are in our CrossFit Kids classes. Building great movement and nutrition habits from an early age will set our athletes up for success.
December Class Schedule
Classes currently run from 3:30pm-4:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For the week of December 25th, we will host classes on Wednesday, December 27 and Friday, December 29. We are also hosting a Holiday Potluck immediately following the adult workout on Saturday, December 23, which should start around 10:30am.
